HARRY MARTIN'S LESS CRAP ALNWICK PUB GUIDE |
| On 4 December 1999, at
2.30am. Harry
Martin was sitting somewhere in Northumberland and signed the Alnwick
on Lion guestbook. He only managed to put "H" as his name.
In response to the question:
..he replied using these exact words (well most of them are words): "I dont think so. Ijust had to tell you your knowledge on Alnwick pubs is crap." I thought he must have written that after an evening's heavy research in the pub but he assures me he didn't. So this page is his opportunity to share his less crap knowledge of Alnwick pubs. He's had since 5 December to get his thoughts together but so far he's not managed to get anything to me. Apparently he thinks I am aged 45-65 and a teacher or a civil servant. He later decided that the page wasn't
actually crap, he just thought I should have gone on about how great his
favourite pubs were. They are the Bird and Bush and JWs. I've
never been in dared go in the Bird and Bush so I don't know what it is
like. As for JWs, I am told that the ladies' doesn't have locks on
the cubicles. Which can hardly recommend it. Harry may like
that, but would he recommend it to a visitor?
